Summary
The Application(s) Project Manager provides additional coordination
and communication, overseeing implementation and maintenance for
assigned applications, application areas, or specialized teams.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Maintaining scope, schedule, and quality in their specific
application area or team.
- Setting clear expectations for team members, including defining
what they should do at each phase of a given project.
- Working closely with the project director and other project
managers to coordinate activities.
- Ensuring that non-Epic stakeholders are engaged in the
project.
- Advising and coaching team members by providing guidance on
issues, key success factors, and lessons learned.
- Sharing with team members the positive effects of innovation
and system capabilities.
- Reinforcing the importance of department initiatives and
together with executives and the project director, provide
consistent communication to the team.
- Organizing resources within the organization.
- Motivating and showing appreciation for the team.
- Appropriately matching team member skills to team
responsibilities.
- Managing from an organizational perspective while attending to
detailed tasks.
- Assisting as a support contact for their area Identifying and
troubleshooting issues.
- Guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and
analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic (Wisconsin)
software.
- Serving as a liaison between organizational needs and Epic
(Wisconsin) staff.
- Maintaining regular communication with Epic (Wisconsin)
representatives.
- Working with Epic (Wisconsin) representatives and organization
stakeholders to ensure the system meets the organization's business
needs including deliverables and timelines.
- Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the
direction for the organization's workflows.
- Participating in training and working with end users.
- Reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis
with leadership.
- Holding weekly communications with team members to discuss the
status of deliverables, shared issues, end user concerns, budget,
and upcoming milestones.
- Owning integrated efforts that span multiple applications such
as BCA, Cutover, HODs, etc. Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrating flexibility with respect to changing end user
business needs.

possible.
- The ability and willingness to take ownership of work
activities and ensure that they are completed in an accurate,
efficient, and timely manner.

with project leadership and subject matter experts.
- The ability and willingness to learn new software and
systems.

finished making his/her point, and repeating information to ensure
accuracy.
- Seeking, logically examining, and interpreting information from
different sources to determine a problem's cause and developing a
course of action to resolve the problem and to prevent its
recurrence.
- The ability to gain trust and establish effective relationships
with counterparts.
- The ability to persevere in difficult situations, overcome
obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with
stressful work situations and time pressures.
Education and Experience:
- Degree/certification in operational or clinical area of
origin.
- Prior project management experience, preferred.
- Attain assigned EPIC (WISCONSIN) Certification(s) within 90
days of employment.
