Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN First Assist for a travel nursing job in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: TravelThe Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) is under the supervision of the CV Specialty Coordinator/Heart & Vascular Service Line Adm when not serving in the role of as RNFA in the sterile field.
  
  
  Required Skills & Experience:
  -A minimum of 24 hours demonstrated proficiency in scrubbing and circulating.
  
  Required Education:
  -Graduate of recognized non-online RN program required.
  -Completion of approved course in RN First Assisting required.
  
  Preferred Education:
  -Once having met the educational and experience requirements, the RNFA is encouraged to attain a Bachelor of Science in nursing to achieve and maintain certification (CRNFA) for this specific role, but is not required.
  
  Work Experience:
  
  -A minimum of 2 years demonstrated proficiency in scrubbing and circulating is required.
  
  Required Certifications & Licensure:
  -Licensed RN able to practice within the State of MS.
  -RNFA course complete.
  -Certified Nurse Operating Room-CNOR.
  -Basic Life Support
  -Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  -NIH Stroke Scale
  
  Monday-Friday, cases begin at 5am and end around 12 noon or until case is completed.
