everything possible.The PSM Engineer II is responsible for
optimizing manufacturing processes, managing projects, and ensuring
the efficient production of high-quality medical devices and
products in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have
experience in process engineering, project management, and a strong
understanding of healthcare manufacturing and PSM standards.This
position reports to the PSM Manager and is part of the Pensacola
Operations and Safety teams located in Pensacola, FL and will be an
on-site role.What you will do:
- Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring that engineering
projects are completed on time, within scope, and within
budget.
- Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing processes to identify
root causes and implement corrective actions for continuous
improvement.
- Coordinate and collaborate with production teams, quality
control, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard
operating procedures (SOPs), process flows, and validation
reports.
- Design, test, and implement new manufacturing processes,
equipment, or systems to increase production capacity and improve
process performance ensuring compliance with regulatory
requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO, PSM) and contribute to audits and
inspections as necessary.Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial
Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
in a process engineering or project engineering role, preferably in
healthcare manufacturing or medical device production.
- 2+ years experience with regulatory standards and quality
systems (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, Good Manufacturing Practices -
GMP).
- 2+ years experience with PSM/engineering projects with strong
project management skills in managing timelines, budgets, and
resources for engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability
to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Travel, Motor Vehicle
Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving
recordIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience
in:
- Translating technical jargon into clear, concise language for a
non-technical audience.
- Working in Pharmaceuticals or Medical Device industry

salary range range for this role is $65,000 - $95,000. This is the
range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible
compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range
may be modified in the future.This job is also eligible for
bonus/incentive pay.We offer comprehensive package of benefits
