seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary
Technician/Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play
a crucial part in providing high-quality care to our animal
patients while supporting our veterinarians and clients. Assist in
the triage of incoming patients, assessing their condition and
prioritizing care Restrain and handle animals safely during
examinations and procedures Collect and analyze laboratory samples,
including blood, urine, and tissue specimens Perform diagnostic
imaging procedures, such as X-rays and ultrasounds Provide nursing
care for medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of
stability Administer medications as prescribed by veterinarians
Communicate treatment plans effectively with pet owners, ensuring
they understand care instructions Prepare animals and equipment for
surgical procedures Assist in anesthetic management during
surgeries Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure optimal patient care
Stay updated on the latest veterinary techniques and best practices

Veterinary Technician or Assistant - Qualifications Qualifications:
Proficiency in animal restraint techniques and handling Strong
knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample collection methods
Experience with diagnostic imaging equipment and procedures
Demonstrated ability to provide nursing care for hospitalized
animals Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in surgical preparation and assistance Basic
understanding of anesthetic monitoring and management Ability to
multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Physical
stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move animals and
equipment Compassionate and calm demeanor, especially in
high-stress situations Strong teamwork skills and ability to
collaborate effectively with staff and clients Self-motivated with
a desire to continuously learn and improve skills Comfort working
in an environment with exposure to animal waste, potential bites,
scratches, and contagious diseases Ability to withstand unpleasant
odors and noises associated with animal care Basic computer skills
for maintaining electronic medical records High school diploma or
equivalent; completion of a veterinary technology program is a plus
